I'm an artist, a photographer, and most importantly a mother. Obsessed with: cake, beach days, and Paris in the 20s. Established in 1991. Keep scrolling for the rest!

There was a time when someone asked me if I was an artist, I would laugh, swallow the guilt, and cautiously say yes. I thought an artist had to be a genius, had to know exactly what they were doing, and be able to make history.

It wasn't till I had my own sweet baby girl that I understood I was indeed an artist and I didn't need to feel guilty about proclaiming it. The images I captured are someone's history. I'm about showing the beauty that already exists here - in you. My art is simple, I love serving my clients by preserving their memories, capturing the beauty of this short and fleeting life. I am most passionate about creating images that capture how you felt in that moment, in that time of your life.

Showing people their beauty in a world that profits off of telling people that they aren't, is the best job in the world. I love making my clients feel like the gods and goddesses they are. Having my clients walk away feeling good about themselves is the greatest accomplishment!

I am a seeker of beauty, a historian of love.

I was trained at Brooks Institute of Photography, which was like thee Stanford of its day; I earned a degree in Commercial Photography with a concentration in Fashion. My studies took me all over the world to document the fashion industry. Today, I join my passion for love stories and admiration for fashion and art history to capture and create new masterpieces, splitting my time between editorial, weddings, and portraiture. When I'm not behind the lens, I am eating churros at Disneyland with my own little legacy, Billy Jo.

“He who works with his hands is a laborer.

He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman.

He who works with his hands and his head and his heart is an artist.”
